Function as a member of the Everence Federal Credit Union senior management team, participate in establishing and implementing major goals and strategic objectives of Everence Federal Credit Union, and serve as a resource in all aspects of lending.Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the Everence Federal Credit Union lending services including consumer, mortgage and real estate loans, business loans, and church loan services. Responsibilities and duties Develop and implement all effective lending strategies, policies and procedures. Ensure effective performance of all lending related services. Responsible for the effective administration of all lending functions. Supervise and coach personnel and ensure optimal performance. Ensure professional business relationships are established and maintained with members, vendors, the business community and trade organizations. Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with all Everence Federal Credit Union personnel, management and members. Chair the Everence Church Loan Committee; provide process and policy updates, as well as church loan requests for final decisions. This position reports to President/CEO of Everence Federal Credit Union. Major challenges Ensuring that all lending activities are efficient, safe, effective, and legally compliant. Ensuring that member needs are appropriately identified and met. Ensuring the effective coordination of all lending activities within related Everence Federal Credit Union departments. Ensuring effective coordination of branch functions with Everence Federal Credit Union lending operations. Ensuring that all lending and credit operations are efficient and cost effective. Ensuring that all lending functions are conducted in accordance with established standards, values and procedures. Ensuring that lending personnel are effective, equipped and well trained. Staying well informed regarding legal and regulatory changes that impact Everence Federal Credit Union operations.
